Black and brown people are dying unnecessarily around the world.  Women, men and children are still being harassed, bullied and subjugated to inhumane treatment that steals our dignity and robs us of our humanity. It is past time for us to all step up and become accountable for the evolution of our species. This is not easy work. This is intentional engagement of our 3 centers to strengthen our knowledge awareness and skills to bring all of humanity together as one race. The human race.  Part of embracing all of humanity requires that we do our individual work and bring ourselves together in a community of conscious allies.

 

The collective work is to face our biases.  By doing this, we interrupt our unconscious bias that is always operating in the background on autopilot.  It is only when we surface our stereotypes that we can begin to peel back the layers of fear that cause us to continuously re-enact our human drama. If you are a student or teacher of the Enneagram, there is intentional work that is needed to embrace diversity, equity and inclusion through our 9 different lenses. This is work that I have taught in organizations for over 20 years, and this is the time to bring this work out into the world to a collective body of Enneagram practitioners as a part of our ongoing work.  

For Enneagram practitioners that are working with businesses, DE&I, may be a missing part of your skillset and offering to organizations.  The Enneagram brilliantly illuminates DE&I work.  

Objectives

Learn how to advocate for all of humanity by: 

  • using the Enneagram as a cornerstone of DE&I tools to help create social equity and eliminate institutional bias. 

  • understanding the intention versus the impact of language such as: white fragility, power, privilege, disparity, marginalized communities and social justice. 

  • embracing our similarities, explore differences and celebrate our common ground.

  • exploring unconscious bias through 9 different lenses.

  • examining how our fixation and passion of Enneagram type stops us from being active as a cultural ally.

  • working with the Enneagram Lines and Arrows to help unlock some of the inherent fear across differences.

  • standing firmly in the space of a “cultural ally” to intervene when micro aggressions and daily indignities are present.

Module 1 Inner Work

12 Weekly Live Virtual Sessions on Tuesdays

Sept. 29 thru Dec. 15, 2020

Explore the relationship between our core motivation, reactions, and responses in the world across differences. How does the passion and fixation of type inform our biases and contribute to the inability to experience empathy and understanding? The inner work journey draws on information and exercises that include somatic experiences, spiritual expression and neurological research.

MODULE 2 LEARNING HOW TO DO THE WORK

Diversity is all the ways that we are similar and different; however, the differences matter, especially the ones that may matter to others for which you are unaware. True diversity is inclusion of others, differences and all.  DE&I work requires the development of a particular skill set that opens the space for understanding the diversity challenge. Specific tools that can be used to open up your awareness to differences and to engage skillfully and successfully to bridge the diversity divide. We don't know what we don't know. During this module, you will learn how to develop more cross-cultural fluency.

This weekend intensive is designed for you to translate your learning into action. During this weekend, students will demonstrate their capacity to apply the language, tools, and skills learned in Modules 1 & 2.  There will be a diverse participant cohort to work with and learn from each other.

This weekend intensive is designed for you to translate your learning into action. During this weekend, students will take a deep dive into difficult conversations to bring about breakthrough and connection.  There will be a diverse participant cohort for individual one on one coaching and counseling techniques.  We will explore the individual layers and legacies that enter into the space between individuals to move the work into healing and transformation. 

Upon successful completion of Modules 1 & 2, and Weekend Intensive 3a or 3b students will become
