-
Using the enneagram as the cornerstone for personal growth as an Ally and for all IDEA work
This course is designed to create a bespoke learning experience. Each class will begin as an open forum for participants to discuss their concerns and challenges. The class will use group coaching techniques to work together and find appropriate approaches and methods for mutually beneficial solutions. OBJECTIVES
Participants can expect to:
-
Use the Enneagram and I.D.E.A. (inclusion, diversity, equity, and anti-racism) to create an internal and external expansion to open our mind-body-spirit connection, stand in love against “othering,” and explore the ways that we can heal across differences.
-
Engage with presence to become more familiar with our patterns that contribute to “othering.” By learning how to release the underlying emotions of anxiety, fear, anger, resentment, shame, and blame, we can heal from past painful experiences that have been inflicted on us or that we have inflicted on “others '.
-
Share personal experiences that allow us to see when we may be dropping into toxic behaviors and reactions and learn how they can provide a wake-up call to manage our responses to challenges.
-
Address how unhealed trauma and internal wounds can create barriers later on in life
-
Learn how to manage feelings around unknown or polarizing dimensions of diversity (i.e., gender and sexual diversity, race and ethnicity, etc.)
-
Address complications around navigating difficult conversations in strained relationships or heated debates on social issues
-
Explore how we show up in painful spaces, taking our positions to heal humanity from atrocities such as the war in Ukraine, political divides across communities, and moving away from apathy and passive inaction when we are called to take a stand.
